St. Stallman

Published by at 11:18 pm under Current Events,Tech

Richard Stallman gave a talk at UCSD’s CSE department today.  He went 1.5 hours without stopping.  Then he did a costume change:

Which I’m guessing is a take on St. Ignatius (iGNUtious):

Hmm, hope THIS doesn’t happen to Stallman – Martyrdom of St. Ignatius

Last spring he came to visit UIC and it was open to the public so I went. He does the little costume change thing at the end of all his talks I gather. Except here in Chicago his custome was misplaced so we all had to pretend he had a platter on his head.

Oh man, Saint IGNUcious, or whatever that nut job (whom I admire) calls himself! I’d love to get him to sign my copy of his book.

Aw, Stallman, shut up with the iGNUtious joke already. Move on. Really.
And st. Ignatius is not to be disparaged like this.

Stallman is a dumb, fat, iconoclast f***. And that just one tenth of it.
